There’s nothing worse than waiting…

Today on the 30th April 2014, my Mum has been admitted in to hospital to have an operation, something which hopefully will put an end to all the pain she’s had to put up with for several months, and will hopefully give her a new relaxing life ahead.

As much as we wanted to, we were not allowed to stay at the hospital and were sent home to wait instead.. And truthfully, it’s killing me slowly, each and every second feels like an hour. The clock seems to have slowed down, and the day seems extremely dull. I can’t wait for that phone to ring, and the nurse from the hospital to just say, “your Mum is fine, you can come in and see her now”.

I am normally very good at waiting, but when it’s something which affects someone you love, there’s nothing worse than waiting…
